What are your values?
What do you care about?
What makes you happy?
These questions are difficult to approach head on. So we've turned it into a simple colouring-in exercise. We've split your life down into lots of different factors, and you can indicate how important each of these factors is to you. This can then be compared with how happy you are with each of these factors. This allows you to answer these difficult questions in a considered and methodical manner.
Let’s explore the different factors that make up your life. We’ll be considering how important each of these factors is to you and contrasting that with how happy you are with them. The goal for this exercise is to discover the areas in your life where there is a significant difference between importance and happiness. The result is a visual description of your priorities and happiness.
Why does this matter? Here’s an example, if you have indicated that your friends and family are very important to you, perhaps you will find moving to live abroad particularly challenging. Understanding your values is important when considering planning your future.
- Discover the areas in your life where there is a significant difference between importance and happiness.
- Identify key factors as priorities or areas that may require attention in the future.
